Methodist

Tata, (Emilio Nieves Hernandez) was a Methodist minister.  He worked tirelessly from 1915 until 1973 with Mexican immigrants from the agricultural camps and urban barrios of Southern California and Arizona.  He dedicated himself to social and economic issues plaguing poor and disadvantaged families, and tended to their spiritual needs.
